This is a quick round-up of all the things going on in the world of Dawn Delayed:

1. The EP is done. It is called "Young Hearts Are Open" and it sounds great! We will be putting some new songs up into our MySpace profile in the near future, so keep an eye over there.

2. Our song "Follow" is featured in a great snowboarding film, Storbis07, which premiered yesterday in a fantastic fashion at Bio Rex in Helsinki. For those who are not familiar with it, Storbis is a series of finnish snowboarding films that started in 2000 and has gained lots of viewers & recognition since then. There is some serious snowboarding action in it, so you should definitely check it out. You can find a trailer for it here: www.storbis.com.

3. We did a tour with Molly Grows Up a few weeks ago. There was a film crew from Rock-Rooster with us, and they will be putting together a documentary of the experience sometime in the near future. In case you were wondering what's going on with Dawn Delayed, here's a little update.

We are currently working on several new songs we are very excited about. The songs take the infamous Dawn Delayed sound to many interesting new directions. We have already been playing a few of them at our gigs, and one of them – called Everyone Is A Liar – is featured as a live version (recorded at the Semifinal club in Helsinki last October) on our myspace site as a taster of things to come.

We are right now doing pre-production (a fancy word for four guys jamming in a room or sitting at a bar and making plans for the future) for our forthcoming EP. The tentative release date for the EP is at the end of August-beginning of September, and it will feature four or five new tracks.

We have also a lot of gigs coming up this year. In August there will even be a small tour with Molly Grows Up, a great band we have played with several times before. And as the EP comes out, there will be much more gigs. Sadly, no gigs outside Finland yet, but we are confident
sooner or later they will be.

To sum it up, everyone is very motivated about playing in the band and you can be sure we will work hard to rock hard.
